After eight years and many questions, like, “What is CCPI doing next?”  When is the next Expedition?  Any Seminars or Workshops planned?  When does the next Paranormal Studies class start?  I thought it was time to start a newsletter to answer those questions.  Of the many newsletters and e-mags I receive each month from other groups, I knew I wanted something informative, humorous and interesting.  And lets face it, I also wanted to do a little bit of bragging along the way.  I am immensely proud of CCPI and its members.  We’ve come a long way from a husband and wife ghost hunting team to a full fledged paranormal research investigation group.  CCPI has been slowly building its reputation and credibility since its formation and now has a solid and committed team.  Plus, with all the special appearances, lectures, ghost tours and walks, our Special Documentary TV series and other CCPI sponsored events, the best way to reach people interested in CCPI and paranormal research was through a newsletter.  We will also include updated paranormal news about equipment, book and film reviews, new theories, certain investigation case studies, upcoming conferences, CCPI Expeditions and other related items of interest to those in the paranormal community.
 
Not sure what format to use or what to put in that would be of interest to the public and other ghost hunters, I enlisted the aid of CCPI Historian & Research Manager, Susan Guhm, now our newsletter Editor.  Susan, herself a published author of children and travel books has taken over writing and editing the CCPI Newsletter starting with the first edition for January, 2010 and every 3 months thereafter.   And as a special feature to our Newsletter, we would like to encourage other ghost hunters and paranormal researchers to submit articles on related topics that can be submitted for publication.  The proposed article should be submitted to the Editor for approval and those selected will be included in the next quarterly newsletter.
